Gift Basket Raffle:
Thank-you to all the Hamilton families for your generous donations and to all our volunteers who helped to make up these 9 beautiful Baskets which are on display in each of the 3 PODs. I think this year’s baskets are the BIGGEST yet! Congratulations to Division 11 (Ms. McKittrick’s class) for donating the most items/cash/gift certificates towards their gift basket. You will won a Pizza Lunch (details to follow via your teacher).
Everyone should now have received 1 raffle ticket book to sell. Cost is $2 per ticket or $20 for Book of 10. You have 11 chances to win (10 gift baskets with approximate value of $150 and grand-prize of Norco youth Bike value of $500). Please note this is a BC Gaming licensed raffle and we must account for every ticket. You do not have to participate HOWEVER, you must return the unsold, intact raffle tickets back to the school ASAP. There will be parent volunteers each morning set up in the foyer accepting back sold ticket stubs/payment, returned unsold tickets, and issuing new tickets books by request.
The PAC is giving incentive prizes for the most raffle tickets sold: for the individual student who sells the most tickets - $25 Gift Certificate to Feb Book Fair, for the Primary Class who sells the most combined tickets - $20 Gift Certificate to the Feb Book Fair (to buy more classroom books) and for the Intermediate Class who sells the most combined tickets - $20 Gift Certificate to the Feb Book Fair (to buy more classroom books).
All raffle tickets (regardless sold or unsold) must be returned by the start of Dec. 21 concert. At the end of this concert, draws for the prizes will be held. Winners must pick up their prizes at the end of the concert or by the end of the school day on Friday Dec. 22 (school is closed for winter holidays until Jan 08).
All proceeds of the Gift Basket Raffle goes towards providing extra-circular activities, equipment and resources for the entire student population.
